How Exoconsciousness Evolves from Human-ET Contact

Rebecca Hardcastle Wright, PhD

“How do I become Exoconscious?” a woman asked, gripping the mic.  Affirmation murmured undertones waved through the scattered participants, the dedicated, who remained until the last nugget of information could be gleaned from Steve Bassett’s 2009 X conference in Washington DC. “Our next X Conference needs to be about Exoconsciousness,” she continued, followed by a smattering of applause.

Steve Bassett had scheduled me to present for 5 minutes about my Exoconscious work at the tail end of his X Conference on a stage of 10 other people who also shared their Ufology and Exopolitics work.

That someone plucked Exoconsciousness from the brief topics presented surprised me. I answered her question and affirmed that yes, a future X conference needs to be about Exoconsciousness. Alas, it never happened. Exopolitics remained sourced in government information and never veered into consciousness. Instead, the growth of Exoconsciousness occurred via a planetary community of ET Experiencers, separate from Exopolitics and government, examining human-oriented consciousness aspects of contact. This is how citizens, who are experiencers, bring about Disclosure.

How Exoconsciousness Evolves
How Exoconsciousness Evolves From ET Contact

On a personal note, the reason I am leading with the woman’s question is that for almost a decade, her question has both haunted and inspired me. The haunting came in how dare I call myself a consciousness expert when the term itself is so muddled by science, metaphysics, brain initiatives, psychology, psychiatry, not to mention artificial intelligence and religion.  How dare I share how to become Exoconscious? The inspiring came in how clearly Exoconsciousness unfolds in the lives of long-term experiencers. How imperative it is that we Exoconscious ET experiencers share our awakening processes, tools and techniques in the form of experience.

The answer to “How do I become Exoconscious” lies within the question. It’s not a Sphinx riddle or a yogi trick question. The answer is one word—Conscious.

I become Exoconscious as I become Conscious.

As my cardio class instructor likes to say, “its just that easy”. Except, like holding a seemingly never-ending contorting plank, it’s not easy. Becoming conscious can be exhausting, pushing beyond our physical and emotional limits, even cracking our spiritual bedrock. Our core.

Nevertheless, it is “easy” because Exoconsciousness is the innate ability of all humans to connect, communicate and co-create with extraterrestrials and non-human intelligences. Every human, equipped with consciousness, has the hardware and the software necessary for Exoconsciousness. Our body, mind and spirit are a coordinated system that both receives, transmits and co-creates with the field of consciousness.

But…and it’s a big but…to become Exoconscious we must be conscious. We must use, train and develop our conscious abilities.

From Unconscious to Conscious

What am I saying about other states of contact? Am I negating all of the ET contact experienced out of body: on an unconscious level, under hypnosis, in dream-state, physical paralysis, or in what feels like an artificial matrix? No. Those primarily unconscious states of contact are real. The experiencer is able to re-member and re-collect fragments of their contact in those states. These states represent human multi-dimensional consciousness that operates in many dimensions and through many states. Science has only tapped the shell of the depth of human consciousness and we ET Experiencers are digging deeper via our experiences. Science is following our lead.

What I am saying, in the context of the multitude of states of possible contact, is that to become Exoconscious, we must be conscious. And that means we become conscious, even during altered states. This happens gradually and many experts are available to teach us lucid dreaming, conscious out of body travel, remaining conscious during varying states of consciousness, and intending to bring unconscious reactions and beliefs to consciousness. The Institute for Exoconscious has gathered a community of teachers and resources to guide in this gradual awakening.

Structure of Exoconscious Conscious ET Contact

As awakening occurs, reality shifts and contact changes as a state of Exoconsciousness progressively unfolds. It is not a one-time event, as in I saw an ET, or an orb, or a UFO. Exoconsciousness is a gradually evolving state, not an event. Events may cause humans to awaken and change their reality. But, at some point, the experiencer must engage the event, examine its meaning, and learn to invite increased contact.

Exoconsciousness is sourced in ongoing ET contact, over a span of time. Becoming conscious of our ET contact often involves years of self-examination and gradual integration of multiple contact experiences. Yet, the process differs in each individual. Each ET experiencer, at some time, has the ability to discover that their contact is now completely conscious. When they wish contact, they invite ET. When ET wishes contact, they consciously hear the request. When they receive an ET message, they do so consciously. There is no trance or hypnogogic state. There is now a conscious relationship.

The Exoconscious experiencer’s Self is awake. Conscious. Their ET contact integrates into their daily life, becoming a source of information and energy that they consciously tap. Fear, trauma flashbacks, anger, and the host of other emotional reactions no longer inhibit the Exoconscious. They break through the veil of separation between themselves and ET. Humans and ET are one in the same way that any close relationship forms intimacy and oneness.  And yet, they are separate beings. Sovereign beings.

Learning to Control our Mind

For over 30 years, I practiced hypnotherapy, for over 10 of those years as a professional. Hypnotherapy and learning to maneuver altered states of consciousness awakened me to unconscious experiences, beliefs and connections. It was essential work. I had a passion for the work of the mind. And yet, I was not Exoconscious, until I reached the point where I could control and manage my mind. I was not under the spell of ET, non-human intelligent beings, a hypnotherapist or a human or artificial mind controlling program. I was in control of my mind.

Being in control of one’s mind is filled with potholes and detours. We learn by experience. We learn by both integration and release. We ask—how, where and why does this ET contact belong to me, to my consciousness? Do I integrate it or release it? Because, when we control our minds during contact, we choose the form and boundaries of our contact. We create a safe contact space.  When we are conscious, we can freely choose to fully integrate or discard portions of all of our experience. It is our choice.

Exoconsciousness as a choice is based on intention. Who am I? Who am I becoming? Who am I in conscious relationship with ET. What kind of ET relationship do I wish to create? What are my boundaries? My desires? Intention requires clarity and wisdom. Clarity means removing any and all blinders that inhibit conscious awareness during ET contact. Intention is not a game or a computer parapsychic experiment; it is the foundation of the soul and spirit transformation we choose this lifetime. We can choose to integrate ET into our daily practice and work. We can choose to integrate ET into our identity. Or not. We control our minds. We control our decisions. We set safe circumstances for contact. We engineer the structure of our relationship with ET.

Leaning to Integrate and Mature through ET Contact

Exoconsciousness is based on integration and maturity. It is a lengthy process that moves through the initial excitement of ET contact and the messages and experiences received. We all receive messages. We all have experiences. Many similar. Excitement is a phase. Eventually, this initial excitement phase quiets and we move into a deeper stage of calm contact. Moving through the phases of contact is a process whose length is determined by the experiencer.

Exoconscious integration and maturity take time because our human nature is tricky. And we need to learn to short circuit the old tricky network that was imprinted in our emotional body, beginning in our early years of Earth life. If we did not form secure and healthy attachments in our early years—if our parents or others neglected us and emotionally or physically abandoned us—then we need to learn to reparent ourselves. Love ourselves. We need to learn to identify and control our old emotional reactions and replace them with a healthy and secure network of love and self-acceptance.

If you count yourself among the lucky ones who spent your childhood in a secure and sane home, then your path is much smoother. Your maturity and integration may be easier. Yet, your initial ET experiences may upset your security, shift your reality. And then you also will be faced with reengineering your reality in order to integrate and mature.

ET Experiencers integrate and mature as we reengineer our reality or reparent ourselves. Gradually we form a new reality which is holistic—mind, body and spirit. It is hard work. A 3-D slog.

Because as enlightening or traumatic an ET experience may be—it is not a fairy tale, or a utopian invitation, or an otherworldly miracle—it is lived and integrated on a 3D level of life. In the here and now. Conscious. And we are all responsible for our own work. ET does not do this 3D work for us. It is our personal responsibility. Fortunately, our human consciousness supplies us with all the tools and techniques we need.

Learning Co-Creation through ET Contact

Exoconsciousness is based on co-creation.  When experiencers are conscious of their contact and communication with ET, we are able to make conscious decisions regarding co-creation. This may involve an agreement between the ET and the human. Or it may involve a specific task or mission.

Co-creation is based on mutual respect and a set of mutual agreements. The ET Experiencer is conscious during this contact and negotiation. ET may solicit needed information or research from the human. And reciprocally, humans may solicit information or research from ETs.

At its core, conscious co-creation is based on humans establishing a respectful peer relationship with ET. This conscious relationship is based on human freewill, intention and the choice of whether to initiate the request to relate and form agreements with ET, or not.

To be clear, Exoconscious co-creation is not about abduction or trauma. Violent confusing contact scenarios are real. And many Exoconscious were involved in these, especially early on in their contact.  As John Mack proposed in his abduction work, when trauma occurs, it may be the result of a human having an unconscious agreement to co-create and work with ET. When the human becomes aware of their agreed upon participation with ET, they can freely choose to be released from the agreement or to continue on with it. It is their choice. But preliminary to making a choice, the trauma must be brought to consciousness. When conscious, Exoconscious humans are in control of their negotiation with ET. Conscious contact is essential for freely chosen co-creation.

Radical Reversal of ET Human Relationship

Moreover, Exoconscious co-creation is not about valuing ET as superior to humans. Exoconsciousness radically reverses the decades of human fear and diminishment in contrast to ET. Human fear and diminishment perspectives of ET contact often result in regarding ET as a god, or a hero, or a superior being. This hierarchical relationship creates unequal, disrespectful and controlling relationships, unfortunately, often imposed by humans on themselves. As Exoconscious mature, integrate and gain an appreciation of their consciousness and abilities to relate to ET as peers, the control factor of ET or the human’s own perceived fear weakens. There is strength in this weakening.

Exoconscious are less likely to be tricked by psyops like Project Bluebeam or fleets of UFOs that are human craft. Event contact and formal disclosure are replaced by an individual’s contact with ET that increases their ability to control their mind, their consciousness, and use freewill peer to peer, human to ET, co-creation.

Ethical Exoconscious

Finally, Exoconsciousness is based on the ethics of dignity and value in all human and planetary life.  This is possibly one of the most challenging aspects of ET contact because it involves self-transparency. For example, Exoconscious call themselves to a personal high standard of ethics regarding their actions, beliefs and relationships. This high standard is framed in love—for self and other.

Secrets, false gossip and violence have no place in Exoconsciousness. Even in cases where keeping secrets, false gossip and violence can be culturally rationalized, including national defense-based intelligence. Honest self-transparency is necessary because a clear conscious mind is only achieved when continuity of action and beliefs are present. Secrecy, false gossip and violence are barriers to a clear conscious mind.

If I am annoyed by another, or threatened, or ridiculed; the first question for the Exoconscious goes to self. What in my conscious mind created or attracted this situation?

And yet, all Exoconscious are human. We are all programmed by 3D cultural imprints of secrets, false gossip and violence. Unfortunately, that is no excuse. As we become conscious, we hold ourselves accountable to a greater degree. We lose the shallow permission to blame others, including ET. We gain the conscious ability to use our freewill to examine ourselves in love and change our beliefs and behaviors.

Many of us talk of Ascension and moving to higher dimensions. We hold inner knowledge of these realms. Yet, we are on 3D Earth. If we are to ascend or live in higher dimensions, ET will not be our savior. A spiritual god or miracle will not transport us. A new Earth will not magically manifest as our home. Instead, human consciousness that involves body, mind and spirit in continuing effort and self-accountability is our ticket. ET is here to assist. Humans are here to do the work. Consciously.
